Alright, so I'm sure that alot of us have heard about the segment on Fox news in which the panel of "experts" gave their opinions on Canada taking a break in their military actions. (The Canadian military needs time right now to rebuild, repair and build tanks, and mourn the losses from Afghanistan, etc...) Lets just say that a lot of people are offended, and rightly so. The segment was basically a bunch of cocky american idiots going on about how this will give Canadians a chance to "paint landscapes", "get manicures", "do yoga", and "run on the beach in gorgeous white capri pants". They began the segment by questioning the manliness of Andrew Leslie's NAME. Wow, good one, guys... Then, they claimed that it was "the perfect time to invade this RIDICULOUS country". They were sure to include some bashes on the Canadian police force, claiming that it was stupid of us to wear bright red jackets and ride horses; "This is not a smart culture!". To clear it up for any people that are ignorant to the situation, the mounties are only a small segment of the Canadian police force. To make it all better, though, the only woman on the panel was so nice to say that "Canadians have to live up where it is frigid, and they hearty folk, and good allies to the USA".. of course this was responded to by another panelist saying "Oh! Looks like someone is dating a Canadian!!". Then, of course, they bashed Europe by saying that both Europe and Canada just relied on the United States for protection, because they were "too wimpy" to do anything ourselves. They closed the segment by making a few mexican stereotypes, and claim that Canada is inviting the Russians and the terrorists to invade them. They were also so humble as to claim that America is the most powerful nation in the UNIVERSE. Hah! Oh Fox... you certainly know how to keep the American citizens happy and well informed on current events.
